Read the news. Not an algorithm.
Nowhere monitors major news outlets. When multiple sources cover the same story, you see it. No algorithm. No bias. You choose where to read.
21 Sources, One Feed
Nowhere monitors CNN, BBC, NPR, NYT, The Verge, and 16 more outlets every 5 minutes. When 2 or more cover the same story, it appears in your feed.
You Choose Where to Read
Tap any story to see which outlets are covering it, each with their own headline. Read the story from the source you trust most.
No Algorithm, No Filter
Every device sees the exact same feed. No personalization. No engagement optimization. No editorial ranking. The same news, everywhere.
Archive & Widgets
Past days are archived and browsable. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keep the top stories one glance away.
Source availability depends on RSS feed status. Additional outlets are configured and will appear as feeds become active.
What the world's newsrooms agree is happening.

Data Collection
Nowhere does not collect personal data. No accounts. No login. No email. No tracking cookies. No analytics SDKs. No device fingerprinting. The app makes read-only API calls to fetch the feed and does not transmit any user data to the server.
Third-Party Services
Nowhere uses SFSafariViewController (an in-app Safari browser) to open article links. When you tap a source tile, you leave Nowhere and enter the third-party outlet's website. Their privacy policy applies from that point forward, not ours.
The app fetches data from our backend API hosted on Railway, with a database on Neon PostgreSQL. Standard server logs (IP address, request timestamp, user agent) may be recorded for operational purposes. These logs are not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and are not sold to third parties.
Widgets
WidgetKit extensions fetch data from the Nowhere API approximately every 15 minutes. No personal data is transmitted during widget updates. Widgets use a hardcoded production URL and do not share code with the main app target.
Advertising
Nowhere is a free, ad-supported app. Advertisements are served by a third-party ad network (to be determined). The ad SDK may collect data as described in its own privacy policy. In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, the app will request your permission before any cross-app tracking occurs. You may decline this request at any time through your device Settings.
Children's Privacy
Nowhere is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us at the address below so we can remove it.
Data Retention
Server logs are retained for 30 days for operational monitoring and then automatically deleted. No user data is stored beyond standard HTTP request logs. News story data is archived by date and retained indefinitely as a historical record of news coverage patterns.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
